Instructions to Authors of Hungarian Agricultural Engineering
The journal publishes original scientific papers, short communications, up-to-date review articles, and selective book reviews in agriculture and environment related scientific areas.
- research papers on new results of scientific investigations (6-15 pages, with min. 20 references),
- critical review articles summarizing the current state of art of a certain topic (15-30 pages, min. 30 references)
- short contributions dealing with a particular question (max 5 pages, with min. 15 references).
Some issues contain “News” and “Book review”, therefore, such contributions are also welcome. Papers are published in English and manuscripts have to contain English abstracts (including keywords). The author(s) are fully responsible for the originality of the paper, its subject and formal correctness. The author’s declaration that the paper has not been submitted anywhere else should be enclosed in the cover letter. Scientific papers shall be no longer than 15 standard pages, including tables and figure captions (maximum 25,000 characters with spaces; number of characters with spaces must be included in the cover letter). The SI international system of measurement units should be used.
MS Word format is preferred in electronic submission. Authors are requested to attach the figures and tables of their manuscript in separate files. Papers will then be reviewed normally by three independent referees, who remain unidentified for the author(s). The Editor-in-Chief will inform the author(s) whether or not the paper is acceptable for publication, and what modifications, if any, are necessary.
